CANALETTO

 

Giovanni Antonio Canal, better known as Canaletto, was an Italian painter and printmaker, best known as a landscapist, precisely because of its nature to capture landscapes, and especially Venetian views.

His paintings, as well as unite in architecture and nature, were from the careful atmospheric rendering, by the choice of precise conditions for each particular moment of the day.

Venetian by birth, he moved to Rome, where he got his start by "landscapist" that made him famous and known throughout Europe as a young man, so much that she moved to England, to lend his work in important English Lords.

It is returned in its Venice for the last years of his life, but always active in his art of landscapist.

Born in Venice on October 18, 1697, died in Venice on April 19, 1768.
